Iowa’s Deer Archery Season Started October 1, 2018

It’s the perfect time of year to pick up your bow and head out for archery deer season in Iowa. This past weekend was a rainy one, but archery season started this past week. The good thing about the rain is how you can see your deer trails! As the Iowa DNR says in their article, once you identify hunting areas you can take full advantage of the leaves being on the trees to make it easier to hunt. Since the season is just starting make sure to consider safety and check your deer stand and other equipment prior to use.
